WHAT IF - 16 variations on chance tells about the ten-year-old LILY, who has a big mishap on the way home. Her question: “What would have happened if… I had just gone differently?” Suddenly, together with the NARRATOR, she and the NARRATOR suddenly return to their starting point against the clock. From then on she has the opportunity to play through the different variants that life has in store for her on every street corner. But she won't find a 'right' or 'wrong' on her way - she recognizes: Even a detour can lead to the goal. This little story puts the fear of the power of chance into perspective and manages to give a girl confidence in her own decisions, even if they entail numerous obstacles at first glance. She doesn't need to be afraid of life, because failure is just as much a part of it as success.

Together with the deaf dancer and actress KASSANDRA WEDEL and the German-Indian actor MURALI PERUMAL, director/author JOCHEN STRODTHOFF and set designer/dramaturg MICHAEL BISCHOFF are developing a thrilling children's theater performance for deaf and hearing people aged 8 and over. An inclusive theater project of this kind is currently unique in Munich and an exception in the cultural landscape.
