It's Christmas time and everyone is preparing for the celebration - except for businessman Ebenezer Scrooge. He rejects sentimentality, he doesn't need friends and family, and holidays are ideal working days for him.

But Scrooge's peace is over when ghosts appear and guide him through the stages of his life.

Scrooge slowly begins to realize that there are more important things in the world for him than money and business.

After the success of “Alice in Wonderland”, Yvonne Kespohl and her team are now directing for the second time at the Augsburg State Theater.
